Digitalisation is changing trade with the help of technological enablers such as electronic identification and signing, online payment solutions and blockchain. However, challenges remain in the interoperability between Estonia and Sweden. The fact that Estonia is a highly digitalised society doesn’t always help when entering the Swedish market.

This first seminar in a series of three focuses on one of the cornerstone enablers of digital trade – electronic identification and signing.

Estonia is a frontrunner when it comes to electronic signing, but the same systems are not used in Sweden leaving Estonian exporters to the old-fashioned email or print, sign and scan procedure when onboarding new customers meaning waste of time and in worst case loss of business.

Focus of the seminar will be on digitalisation of trade and customer onboarding, systems used and legislation applicable in Sweden. Learn about the change in sales processes and what tools are available for digitalisation of customer journey. You will also learn about the legislation on eID in Europe and in Sweden.
