| The objective of the activities of the tourism sector is to promote Estonia as the tourism destination and increase the international competitiveness of the Estonian tourism products. The creating of the good reputation of Estonia as the tourism destination in the whole world increases effectively the demand for all Estonian products and services, including the tourism products. We have prioritised the target markets, considering their size, number of the trips made to Estonia and the general attractiveness of Estonia therein. We direct campaigns to the publicity of target markets and organise media relationships to perceive the reputation of Estonia as the appropriate tourism destination. In addition to the marketing of the whole of Estonia we support the marketing activities of the Estonian different regions and companies both financially and with advice.
In addition to marketing we assist the final consumer to find suitable possibilities and the entrepreneurs to introduce themselves with the help of the tourism information system which consists of the website www.visitestonia.com and tourism information centres. Also, we assist the tourism operators in product development, we organise the training for the entrepreneurs and provide regular analysis of the statistics of the tourism sector for the tourism professionals and other interested parties. |
