The grant can be applied on an on-going basis and only for the implementation of the projects entered to the list of the action plan to be confirmed by the Minister for Regional Affairs.
Objective of Setomaa grant
The objective of the grant is to contribute to the retaining of the viability of Setomaa, by developing the local business environment and people and by supporting the marketing activities of the region.
The Association of Setomaa Rural Municipalities prepares the annual action plan confirmed by the Minister for Regional Affairs for using the means of the programme.
Who can apply for the grant?
The applicants within the programme can be the non-profit associations and foundations operating in Setomaa, provided the activities planned in the project are among the activities specified in the articles of association of their organisations and the local government units located in Setomaa.
For what the grant is provided?
The programme is directed to the part of historical Setomaa territorially located on the territory of the State of Estonia (Mikitamäe, Meremäe, Misso and Värska rural municipalities). The activities carried out in Setomaa or outside Setomaa, if these contribute to the development of the business environment of Setomaa and the companies operating in Setomaa, are eligible.
How big is the grant?
The maximum amount of the grant is up to 500 000 kroons per project and up to 100% of the eligible costs are compensated, generally up to 85% of the eligible costs.
