The regional development planning grant is financed from the Estonian state budget. The grant can be applied for on an on-going basis.
Objective of the regional development planning grant
The objective of the regional development planning programme is to support the preparation of the investment projects of host and business environment.
Who can apply for the grant?
The grant can be applied by the local governments, foundations and non-profit associations, provided the activities planned in the project belong among the activities specified in the articles of association of these organisations, the county museums in the meaning of subsections 2 and 5 of § 8 of the Museums Act, National Nature Protection Centre.
For what the grant is provided?
The projects including the following activities are supported within the programme:
- Preparation of the strategies for the assessment, specification and effective implementation of the region-specific resources;
- Specification of development complexes and planning of development for the preparation of the specific investment projects, including:
- Perspective development plans;
- Evaluation of socio-economic profitability;
- Feasibility analyses of taking the complex into use;
- Investment and action plans;
- Marketing strategies;
- Analyses of environmental impacts.
How big is the grant?
The minimum amount of the grant is 50 000 and the maximum is 500 000 kroons per project.
