Peipsiveere programme is co-financed from the Estonian state budget.
The grant can be applied on an on-going basis and only for the implementation of the projects entered to the list of the action plan to be confirmed by the programme council.
The objective of Peipsiveere programme
The objective of Peipsiveere programme is to contribute to the sustainable development of the region of Peipsiveere and community of Old Believers based on the implementation of cultural natural peculiarity of the region as the specific development potential.
The target areas of the programme are:
- Lohusuu rural municipality in Ida-Viru county
- Mustvee town, Pala and Kasepää rural municipalities in Jõgeva county
- Kallaste town, Meeksi, Vara, Võnnu, Piirissaare, Peipsiääre and Alatskivi rural municipalities in Tartu county
The 3-member programme council prepares the annual action plan for using the programme means. The members of the programme council are the representative of non-profit organisation Peipsi Region Development Chamber, representative of Peipsiveere Development Foundation and the representative of Lohusuu rural municipality.
Who can apply for the grant?
The grant can be applied by the non-profit associations and foundations whose objective is to develop the target area of the programme, provided the activities planned in the project are specified in the articles of association of their organisations; also the local governments located in the target area of the programme.
For what the grant is provided?
The projects directed to the preservation and development of regional heritage culture are supported (handicraft, choral singing, fishing and vegetable growing traditions, architecture).
How big is the grant?
The amount of the grant is up to 500 000 kroons per project and the grant cannot make more than 85% of the eligible costs of the project.
