The Mentorship Programme for Non-Profit Associations is co-financed by the European Social Fund. A grant is not available in the framework of the programme; rather it is an opportunity to participate over the course of one year in working as a cooperation tandem, training and seminars.
Why the Mentorship Programme for Non-Profit Associations?
Mentorship is a partnership relationship in which both parties develop and where the more experienced person (mentor) plays the role of adviser to and vouches for a less-experienced person (mentoree), who receives necessary support for its personal and professional development. The mentoree is the more active party in this relationship - the mentoree sets the goal and guides the process of moving toward the objective. The mentor's role is to support, guide, catalyze, consult, listen and ask questions - providing encouragement for the mentoree in acquiring new knowledge and skills.
Objective of the mentorship programme 2009/2010
The objective of the programme is to increase the capacity and professionalism of associations operating in the public interest (non-profit associations, foundations) through cooperation and partnership in the non-profit sector.
