In 2008 Enterprise Estonia, Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Estonian Employers’ Confederation organised the traditional competitions Entrepreneurship Award 2008 and the Most Competitive Estonian Companies Ranking 2008.
The competition Entrepreneurship Award is organised in the similar form already for the eighth year. During the years the award categories have changed to a certain extent according to the development of economic environment.
As a result of Entrepreneurship Award 2008 eight awards were issued: Exporter 2008,  Foreign Investor 2008, Industrial Enterprise 2008, Innovator 2008, Tourism Innovator 2008, Developer of the Year 2008 and the main prize Entrepreneurship Award 2008. The criteria of the competition have been provided here.
The announcement of the winners and award of the best were held on 19 September 2008 in the festive award gala in Estonia Concert Hall.
The results of the competitions were published in the special publication “Estonian Best Companies”.
